In addition to being a great spot for fishing, Sander Baggersee Lake also offers some beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. The lake covers an impressive 25 hectares of land and is stocked with various species of fish, including Wels Catfish that can grow up to 5 feet in length! The lake also contains other native species such as carp, pike, perch, tench, roach, bream, eel and more. The lake is known for its clear, clean waters with a high oxygen content that make it ideal for catfish. It’s considered a favorite among tourists and anglers alike due to its picturesque setting and abundance of fish.
